Hi everyone!
I'm writing this update as the summer makes its way to Finland. It has been quite warm here this week, but that has not stopped us from working on the Starfinder conversion for the World of Alessia Campaign Primer. I just sent Jaye the newest version document (which is now over 200 pages). We still have a ways to go, but we're making excellent progress and I'm really excited about what we will be sharing later this year.
While we will have a fair amount of work ahead of us, both Jaye and I have been doing our best to streamline our workflow process to reduce (or eliminate) production obstacles. So far, we have identified some areas where we can improve, specifically when dealing with revision control, the InDesign document, and how we handle some of the design constraints that pop up from time to time.
One of the things Jaye and I have been discussing is posting some recorded content, to include a video tour of the book (so far). Jaye and I have been holding regular production meetings since the beginning of this project, but we have yet to really hold any 'fireside chats' for backers and we both feel like changing that would be good for everyone.
Our current plans are to record some content this weekend, which we will share directly with you next week. Then, if backers are interested, we are considering holding a fireside chat (likely in Discord) for backers who want to ask questions and see the book.
